I ate there last night and all was fine. Great service, great food, reasonable prices. As a native West Seattlite, the Homestead is an institution. There was a time that you needed to make reservations a year ahead of time for Mothers Day, maybe still that way. Great setting for a couple or the whole family. Once more we had the family style chicken dinner and it was great. BTW, the rumors of closing are NOT true. I was told there is new ownership and there will be some remodeling in the spring and some expansion of the menu, but they are still there.
